WEX delivers the compass in 4 Phases: Envision, Strategize, Perform, Maximize. Each phase contains 2 distinct stages.

PHASE I - ENVISION: No matter the challenge, WEX will help you Envision a brighter, stronger, larger and more advanced company, team, project and/or leadership. We will assist you in making the key decisions required to help you determine which solution suits you and your situation. Reach for the stars.

• Stage 1 - Explore
WEX believes that within each business lies a treasure of opportunity that's just waiting to be discovered. The adventure begins by diving deep into the leadership's knowledge and pulling out troves of ideas. With the WEX Architectural Team by your side adding value from a business and sustainability point of view, together we will examine all constellations in search of the perfect passage.

• Stage II - Analyze
Now that we've identified the stars, we'll need to analyze each constellation to determine which is right for our budget, organization, industry and current standing. WEX will help you pinpoint the specific areas on the map by utilizing our DEEP DIVE workshop.

PHASE II - STRATEGIZE: With several points on the map, it's important to use our analysis wisely and begin charting a course. A good strategy starts with focus and determination.

• Stage I - Focus
We begin mapping out the best possible course by focusing on our mission, vision, goals and values. Now that we know where we want to be, it's important that the entire leadership unite with a clear understanding of goals, values and company core objectives.

• Stage II - Architect
While speaking from the same page, it's much easier to chart the course. During this stage, we will be using the same map, compass and sextant to get to the same location.

PHASE III - PERFORM: Together at the helm, we begin operationalizing our strategies and set sail.

• Stage I - Develop
The architectural plans have been designed and now we'll build them out by preparing the pieces for execution. If there are purchases to be made, software to be developed, plans of execution to be drawn out, documentation to be drafted, marketing materials to be created, business plans to be written, etc., this is the phase where it all happens. This is where the ship is taken out to sea and the sails are raised.

• Stage II - Execute
At this point, we're already experiencing the transformational value WEX provides. However, by executing our well-planned strategy, we set sail on our adventure. We have the right people, the right ideas, the right plan of action and now we're all steering toward a definite location with confidence.

PHASE IV- MAXIMIZE: A well planned process includes a comprehensive change management plan. It's required at two points within the execution of any plan: 1) During the implementation of the primary strategy and 2) After the execution of the primary strategy. Why? Because the weather changes, there are other vessels in these waters, the barometer rises and falls.

We're there, prepared with measurements and adjustments. It's important to keep watch and determine an alternate course if needed or a new boat to take us there. Like a beacon in the night providing us safe passage to our destination, The WEX Compass helps to improve our situation when something shifts.

• Stage I - Measure
Our plans have helped us determine measurements and guidelines for growth and maintenance. We stay the course until our measurements tell us something different. We keep an eye out for other ships or challenges along the way. We measure company performance, competitors, industry and other factors.

• Stage II - Improve
We tweak and define our plans and develop new projects based on our measurements and readings. We may even find it necessary to shift our course or alter our vision. However, we have the tools to get there via The WEX Compass. The sky is the limit.
